I need to model the IRS-I protein, but the homology modelling and I tasser result is not good enough, I have planned to use quark, but protein length is too large for quark.
There are many servers that allow protein modelling, some of which are mentioned above. But still using the Modeller is the best option for modelling a protein. Modeller now also has a GUI interface, so u can easily model a protein using modeller . hope this helps. Best of luck :)
Use Protein model portal . The goal of the Protein Model Portal (PMP) is to provide a single portal which gives access to the various models like ModBase,SWISS-MODEL, I-tasser etc
As you mentioned that your protein dosen't have a homolog in PDB, so you may face difficulty in homology modelling. You may attempt threading approach or ab initio predictions for protein modelling. All the best. Be prepared that you may not get a high scoring model with very good predictions.
