Could you be a bit more specific? The answer information you appear to be requesting in regard to MRI is: it depends. Meaning that there is no generic response to your question. What is your experimental design and what do you hope to see? For equipment: I assume that you are referring to MRI machines used for medical purposes in humans. You could use such machines but again that depends on what you want to capture. I'm not an expert on ECG. But I can say that if you plan to use any device (or connections to any device) in an MRI machine it has to be compatible with being placed in very high magnet and radio frequency fields and not cause artifacts in the MRIs.
