Is it compulsory to take permission from journal for reusing only a curve not whole figure of a graph (own published work) for writting /publishing a new paper with additional data.
Does it requires permission or citation or depends upon particular journal?

If you have transferred copyright to that journal where you have already published your paper then you should request to have permission to reproduce it again, even in part.
Yes. Prof. Subir is right. In addition, after transferring the copyright to the journal, some journals have exceptions to the author or researcher. In most cases, they allow the authors to freely use and enjoy the content of their work in restricted bases based on their parameters set. Yet, you have to cite to be free from the strings of self-plagiarism.
