Dear Respected RG Experts

What are the important factors/parameters on which crystallite size of co-precipitated compound depends?

For example, a series of inorganic compound (oxides) prepared by same method under same experimental conditions with slight change in composition (such as doping) results in different crystallite sizes. So, is there any general rule/reasons or it is specific to particular reaction condition? What are the parameters on which it depends? How these phenomena are usually understood/ explained?

Please provide relevant literatures/books/other resources.

Your kind views and suggestions are most welcome.

With best regards
