Hello Everyone , I am performing a buckling analysis on laminated composites shells.

The load I am getting in Non Linear Riks method is greater than the Eigen Value Load . Can someone help me with that?

I have used an imperfection of 50% of thickness of the shell.

LPF is converging at 1.29 value , as you know that Non linear buckling load is given by following,

Non Linear Bulking Load= LPF*Applied Load

So, after multiplying LPF with the applied load it exceeds the first eigen value buckling load.
