there are different possibilities of Mycoplasma removal. The easiest is the treamtent with antibiotics like: Tiamulin (BM-Cyclin 1), Minocyclin (BM-Cyclin 2), Amphotericin B, Ciprofloxacin, Gentamycin, Kanamycin, Tetracyclin, Tylosin.
In principle it is possible to passage contaminated cells in vivo (mouse).
There are commercially available treatment solutions, that should contain the mentioned antibiotics (eg Invivogen, Life Technologies, Roche and others).
As already mentioned, if possible, restart your culture with fresh and clean cells. Additionally, clean everything (pipettes, pipetting aid, hood, incubator...).
Treat your cells with cell culture grade water for 1 min (3 times) after washing with 1XPBS. Because mycoplasma lack cell wall they will swell and rupture/bust, repeat this treatment for several days when you change the media. Ultimately you could get rid of all of the Mycoplasma. Do not use harsh chemicals, you would never know how it would impact your experiments and reproducibility.
