Most of papers used dharmacon or ambion. In my case, i used Qiagen (with "HiPerfect as transfection reagent). I have nice results with mimetic miRNA, however, i could not decrease expression of miRNA target with inhibitor.

Also, you can test lipofectamine to trasfected cells.
