At present I am facing meshing problem in ANSYS (APDL) I don't know why. I reduced the model to 1/4th and tried for meshing but the problem persists. So I am going for 1/8th and I have not tried meshing for this model because I want to know will the result be acceptable if the reduced model compared to original model by multiplying the result by 8 times of the reduced model.
I have tried to implement the model from other software to workbench for meshing and solving, but the it showing as single volume but I have 2 volumes for which each volumes as to be meshed separately.
There is a very good guidance to meshing problems at the Guides published in the Customer Portal of ANSYS. I would suggest to use the Workbench better than APDL because of the easy inerface and size control. I think your poblems with the separate consideration of volumes come from the geometrical definition. Try to revise the process following the guide of mesing at the Customer Portal.
As i guess from your way of writing i thought you are doing mistake on creating geometry because as i know there will be no such problems comes if we will reduce model or simulate full model so i suggested you that please start thinking from your geometry creation and yeah follow the ansys guide from help menu too.

But i would kindly inform you that the geometry which i modeling in Ansys is the simplest geometry or i could say it is the geometry that even a beginner can model but here geometry is not the problem only meshing and solving the geometry is the big problem. For that i followed the guidelines and also i tried it in workbench but no use.
