I'm trying to find some literature on the electrochemical quantification of certain metabolites, amino acids or anything really, in cell culture media e.g. DMEM, EMEM, RPMI etc. Ideally using cyclic voltammetry or linear sweep voltammetry.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not the components and the concentration of each component I'm after; I'm trying to find a few articles that look at the electrochemical characteristics of certain components/ molecules in media, but thank you for your response.
In our recent paper

we did stripping voltammetry of Cu species in DMEM, DMEM with serum, and histidine solutions (among others). You can probably find some ideas, even if it was not straightforward to distinguish and assign all peaks. Depends very much on the accumulation potential etc. You'll find the electrochemical spectra in the supporting information. The paper is on Research Gate. Ask the corresponding author if you want to have spectra for solutions without Cu ions, for which we also saw some peaks in some cases. I guess the cited references are even more helpful.
I investigated earlier solutions with different proteins by stripping voltammetry, when looking at Cr-protein complexation (this is also published and on Research Gate, but probably not so helpful).

Thank you again for answering another one of my questions! I've given the paper a read and it was very interesting. Unfortunately (for me) it's very specific to copper analysis, though it is nice to see you're work has assessed similar aspects (ROS accumulated damage).
I've asked this question due to a slight peak appearing in both my EMEM and DMEM scans via GCE V Ag/AgCl. At -0.1 - 0.1V during CV, a peak is developing at both oxidation and reduction cycles, and is prominent over 20 cycles.
Currently I've managed to rule out cysteine, tryptophan and tyrosine as the potential molecule(s) inducing the peak.
