I am in the process of building and testing a microfluidic cell sorter. We have been sorting PBMCs for our experiment due to their frequent use in flow cytometry and general immunology.
PBMCs are suspension cells and I would like to try the same in a suspension cell line,. As a proof-of-concept, ideally I want something not too challenging. As an example, we tried MCF-7 cells but found they tend to sediment rapidly and clog our microfluidic channels as well. Does anyone have any suggestions for any other cell lines I may try? Ideally, these lines are not too exotic (used relatively commonly) and easily cultured as well.
