This is a photo of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell line grown on plastic ware.
The cell line is transformed to express a molecule that are known to be expressed only by endothelial cells. Not everyday but someday the cell line shows this tube-like morphology. Is this a meaningful finding or just a coincidence?

It is hard to tell this way, better you run a control along so a comparison could be done, otherwise it is very hard to say as under a stress condition, cells goes in similar morphology.

Try to stain with CD31/PECAM antibody immunofluorescence. The only confirmatory method will be using EM to prove the tube formation.
Many different types of non-endothelial cells form tube in matrigel assay, even some fibroblast lines.
