I am trying to seed 3000 breast cancer cells in 96 well plate and 6 well plate. I count the cells on 4 corners of the hemocytometer(after diluting the sample 1:10) and then take the average. For instance, if my average comes out to be 5 then there are 5*10^4 cells per mL. So accordingly I calculate the amount of media required for 3000 cells. But this method is too time consuming. Is there an alternative way to do this?
