Yes. there was a study that came out. I have it in my office and can’t remember it off hand. But I believe it refutes the glass-of-wine-a-day-ism. Also, I am pretty sure, based on some research I did in the past, it’s highly correlated with pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer in that alcohol might, in my opinion, be a moderator variable which increases the likelihood of progressive disease of the organ.
