Human fluid when extravasate from their natural location can induce inflammatory response ( like blood extravasation in sinovial space or like pleural effusion or ascots). Is any test or exam that can define and assess the "irritability/inflammatory" capacity of human fluid to human surfaces like peritoneum, pleura, pericardium and skin?
Dear Mauro chemokines (MCP, MIP, IL-8), IL-1 beta and TNF alpha are the candidates depending on the tissue. IL-6 is also important as acute phase reactant.

I was thinking if I have for example pleural fluid, usually is not irritative or cause any inflammatory response in the pleura, but if the fluid change characteristic ( like more protein, or very basic or acid ph, or even bacterial antigens) it will cause and inflammatory/immune response from the pleura.
So this is the point, if I have a biological fluid ( like the pleural fluid of the example) in which I can change its natural characteristics how I can test to see its power to create or not inflammation when get in contact with the tissue again.
I was thinking some kind of Mantoux or cutaneous allergic test. Does exist any?
For cartliage, one can use a piece and add IL-1B to induce inflammation. Other things could also be used to induce inflammation. Then the aggrecan and collagen release are measured. There is also an eye pocket assay that probably could be used, although I have no experience with that.
Hi Mauro It is simple to induce inflammation with pleura just by adding either IL-1 beta or IL-8 in small quantities 1 to 5 ng Also you may changie the osmolarity of the liquid adding a high molecular weight protein. I am not certain about lowering the pH since it is unclear what exact effect could be observed.
I have no knowledge of any test except in similar fashion the limulus assay for LPS.

Yes, this is very true.
Like blood extravasation in sinovial space or like pleural effusion or ascots inflammation is produced. Many -a - time this is painless and resolves on its own and by giving symptomatically treatment , if limbs are the site, then exercise.
Some suggest Surgical but I am not in favor unless & until essential, painful or interferes with one's movements.
