Do you have an experience of MAP used for hardening steps of vitroplants especially in woody plants? In some cases, MAP is highly effective for root induction as compared to the auxins. I need such references that shows a good correlation of rooting and survival success of the planlets in ex vitro after MAP application or pretreatment.

you can use nitrogen as ammonium, nitrate or amino acids.
I have observed the positive effect of nitrate (KNO3) on tomato somatic embryo's rooting in modified B5 culture medium. nitrate also enhanced further growth of roots in my experiment.
about using MAP just be careful about the amount of ammonium , because high density of ammonium will result in cell toxicity both in vitro or in vivo.
