hi
is it right to use GAPDH TaqMan as a reference gene instead of using miR-16 or U6 to determine the expression of target miRNAs such as miR-21 ?
thanks

Dear Zaynab
To normalize microRNA expression U6 SnRNA has been used in many publication.
In addition we can also use set of endogenous RNA to normalize microRNA expression such as:
SNORD38B, SNORD44, SNORD48, SNORD49A, SNORA66, 5S rRNA,
U6 snRNA, RNU5G, RNU1A1, SNORD65, SNORD68, SNORD110.
If you use more than 2 endogenous it will give power to study.

Thank you Dr. James
That's very helpful 😉
Thanks Prabu for your answer and the website 😉
Good one
I think RNAU6 work very good compared to other reported control for miRNA expression.
hii all i'm asking why multiple codons code for the same amino acid but different protein activity ? please attach papers or reviews thank you all zaynab
