I have read a research paper Ageratum Yellow Vein Virus isolated from a tomato plant with leaf curl on Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan. According to this research, the paper confirmed that AYVV is naturally transmitted from infected weeds to our crops, does it mean we need to use Ageratum conizoydes to preserve the virus and prevent the inoculum mix from another virus?

Thank you so much for your attention

I am looking forward to seeing your response
