Boil it in sample loading buffer and then store it at -80oC. It should last for ever. By boiling in RIPA with out first denaturing proteins, many proteins may aggregate and be lost. I am not sure what are the downstream experiments that you are planning. Some proteins have cold denaturing properties and you may miss them if frozen in RIPA. If you know something about the protein you are looking for you can empirically determine this and you are good to go. Hope this helps.
