i am looking for a way to measure passive hybridization with a dye that will bind to dsDNA during the hybridization for kinetics measurements. Does anyone know of such method using spectrometer with visible light?
I think there is some molecular beacon available that have Visible length fluorophores (wavelength of 665 nm, light blue curve) or (wavelength of green curve).
