I assume you mean transmission. For a substance that does not scatter, the transmission is equal exp(-pathlength x absorption coefficient).
From absorbance you can calculate transmittivity using the relation
A=2-log10(%T)- A-absorbance ,T- transmittance.

For calculating optical conductivity you need reflection and transmission both as reflection can not always be neglected. From the absorbance data you can not separate transmission and reflection. Hence, from absorption data alone you can not calculate optical conductivity. Correction for reflection is necessary to get the right results.
