In a democracy, you have the choice of running for president of the USA knowing your salary is $400,000 or become the CEO of a company and make $40,000,0000. In a dictatorship or kingdom, the leader determines his/her own salary!

The salary issue should not be linked to political position, but to the technical quality of the professional. The salary cap can be established on the basis of qualifications and not of function, often conquered in a not very correct way. A plan of positions and salaries for public workers should be the prime criteria for their entry into these activities. These criteria could be binding on future political candidates, not vice versa. In this way, perhaps the level of corruption and misappropriation of public money would be minimized or avoided.
In developing country, there should be no salary for all politicians.
Of course, some public workers can earn monthly salary more than the president of a country. It all depends on the type of work and duty someone is performing.
I think the president should earn less because most of his expenses are taken care of by the state.
No. The president is the highest authority and is in charge of everybody including the public worker under discussion and therefore the president must earn higher than all public enterprises
Public worker is mission is for the social worker & his welfare .For his services he may take a contribution in the form of salary there is absoutely nothing wrong but in case if it takes more salary than the highest office of the government in this case it is not befitting to his services of public worker.
This is my personal opinion
I don't think so but i think what is due the worker must be given to him or her.
Salaries should be assigned based on one's professional outputs and not the privileges they enjoy in the society. If someone's output of work surpasses that of the President, why should the president take higher wage than him?
My take Godwin : The president of the country should take 1$ as a honorary salary ...
Power is a wonderful tool , nope not to be measured by $$ or take home but $$ contributed to the people who have trust in the person and his/her vision .
The rest it is up to them ...
It is possible. it depends on the work the person does, so when it comes to salary it doesn't matter your position in the country, be it the president and the others.
Salary should commensurate with a n employee's productivity with consideration to it value and inherent risks. The president who is the no.1 gentleman of the land receives the highest salary when all the french benefits accorded him is quantified in monetary term.
Yes because take for instance public workers are like organs of the body relatively.
If they don't do their difficult jobs well the country will not grow economically.
So they deserve it.
am sure the answer will be yes for some of the works done by these public workers are more and very important than some of the works done by the president which deserve more salaries
