Yes. To the needy, the elderly and the poor as well as the physically challenged who would reasonable not be able to work.
One beggar who portrayed himself as physical challenged was exposed by some young guys as a healthy person last week on a popular street to my workplace.
I am now cautious of whom I give aid on the street. I use discretion in knowing who really needs the GENUINE help.
Including helping and sharing with them, even if only a little bit. As a religious Muslim, I help the needy, which makes me feel the grace of God. I often help everyone regardless of who they are, but homeless and needy children make me empathize with them even more.
thanks senior RG colleagues for your kind gestures.
Giving to others is the fifth action God promises to reward. Every money you have, every material item you own, every skill you have is a gift from Almighty God. Knowing that all we have is a gift from God (James 1:17), why should we not seek to generously give to others, especially when we consider that this is an activity God promises to reward?
God will continue to bless and reward you all in abundant for the smiles you are putting on the face of others.
Begging is a disgrace to human dignity. Those who beg while they are physically fit for finding a decent job do not deserve to be paid any money. However, those who are unable to work and their subsistence depends on the favours provided by others are an exception. Giving money to such people is certainly an act of sympathy for a good cause.
Yes, I give to the orphanage children, disabled children and adults who are not capable to work. However, I don't always give to able-bodied persons who only claim to be poor as a result go on to beg. I believe there's always something they can do to take care of themselves. You will be surprised that some people have turned begging to job opportunity - sometimes they make more money than you and I.
I provide aid to the disabled, homeless, the deprived and beggars on street not those who are capable of doing something to take care of themselves. I do this because I have love for all and also their situation can happen to any individual at any time or circumstance.
