In Ansys steady state and static structural , I select a rectangle on a surface and apply heat flux on it and apply convection on two sides. But when I solve it , I see that the selected surface isn`t changed. I want to have uniform surface.
What should I do that I have a Gaussian surface?
From the file you attached, it seems that the simulation works fine. I can't understand what is exactly your problem.
Is you heat flux constant? Or, is it varying with distance or radius? Is it require to apply it in a circular area? If so then you can generate the heat flux function in function editor and apply it. You check your material properties and boundary conditions also. You should use the consistent unit of material properties and geometry i.e. SI unit or other.

Heat flux is constant on the rectangle. and I want this rectangle on selected surface have maximum of deformation but in this solution it doesn`t.
Is my simulation correct ? and does this solution occur because of properties of silicon?
