I am doing two way ANOVA by SPSS.
I have measured wound size in different days. I would like to do two way ANOVA to find any difference between time and treatment. I would like to find the statistical results in all treatment in each day (time) as well by two way ANOVA. How can we get these type of results by two way ANOVA? I think it is possible with contrast options in two way ANOVA, but I don't know how it works.
If anybody knows and can help me it will be greatly appreciated.
sounds like you have repeated measurements, which should be incorporated into the analysis, either using repeated measurements ANOVA, where you test polynomial contrasts on time or using mixed model.
Not contrasts per se, what you actually need is the lmatrix command. Now the good news, it tells you exactly how to do this in the syntax manual (page 901 in version 19)! You can also see it done on http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/spss/library/sp_glm.htm

there are two files in the zip file attached to this post. One of them contains a 30 x 6 data matrix that fits into your specifications, if I understood them right. It is composed of five randomly generated measurements of wound size---one for each of five days of treatment---for 10 patients under three different treatments.
The other file contains the SPSS syntax to run a mixed ANOVA with one between-subjects factor with three levels (i.e., treatmentType) and one within-subjects factor with five levels (e.g., treatmentDay) on those data.
The syntax file is the one generated by SPSS through the menu options plus two additional lines. These are:
- /EMMEANS=TABLES(treatmentType*treatmentDay) COMPARE(treatmentType) ADJ(LSD); and
- /EMMEANS=TABLES(treatmentType*treatmentDay) COMPARE(treatmentDay) ADJ(LSD)
They are responsible for making pair-wise comparisons, that is, comparisons between the levels of one factor for each level of the other factor, and viceversa, which is what I think you aimed at.

Allen, P., & Bennett, K. (2012). SPSS statistics: A practical guide version 20 (2nd ed.). Melbourne, Australia: Cengage Learning.
You need to be able to run and understand these analysis yourself. Don't rely on others to do the analysis for you. Yes, ask for help but make sure you are in control.

you got a very important analysis to do and I suggest that you read Dr. Soleman Abu-Bader's book.s. In His book "Advanced & multivariate statistical methods for social science research : with a complete SPSS Guide" will help you do the analysis step by step. it is very easy to follow as he provides many examples. I used it myself and it is very helpful.
