How to prevent autolysis of uric acid in borate buffer of pH 8.5?

I have prepared 10mM uric acid in borate buffer of pH 8.5 to study the uricase assay as per previous literature. However, the uric acid exhibited autolysis with borate buffer and tris buffer during assay? How can I stop the autolysis? Is there any solution? Kindly help me to move forward.
