We have DNAse I stock solution (obtained commercially, still lyophilized, should be dissolved in 10 mL according to supplier) and it has been sitting in a closet way too long (nearly 10 years). But since we need it, we want to perform an assay to understand it still works. Is there a cheap and fast way to understand it still has activity and if it is, how to perform it?
