Dear community,

I’m trying to lyse Lysobacter enzymogenes cells. I want to open them up in a very gentle way to cause as little damage to everything that’s inside them (proteins, peptides, lipids, metabolites, nucleic acid,…). Is there an efficient but soft way to open them up? I’d say that using heat or alkaline lysis would be too harsh. Do you have any recommendations?

Best regards

Julian
