I have been working on Solid works for a heat exchanger model and now I need to mesh my surface. I couldn't able to import the model in the ANSYS 16 workbench. Kindly help me in this issue . I have attached the .SLDPRT file for your reference

I have heard about this issue before. Ansys and SW run on different upgrade schedules.
Try to save the SW file as iges and import it to Ansys. I know this is not enough if you want to do a parameterized study on the geometry.
Also, you might again configured the SW plug-in.
1. Run CAD configuration manager as administrator.
2. Select the tab CAD selection,
3. Go to SolidWorks : tools, add-ins, and enable Ansys. DONE

The solid models were exported from Solid Works in a highly portable Parasolid (x_t) file format which could then be imported into the ANSYS DesignModeler as an external geometry file. Once imported, the needed geometry was able to be quickly generated using DesignModeler functions. This is what we carried out.
Save the file as a step file or IGES in Solidworks and Import from ANSYS Workbench. This should work fine.
Or else you should install the solidworks plugin for ANSYS

Save in solid works as step file or iges file. Import to ansys. Click generate.
You have to save the generated file in solidworks, with extension .step or .stp, to visualize it in Ansys Workbench. Because with .iges or .igs it is not possible to visualize all the solid.
you can directly call solid work file in ansys workbench design module, no need to convert in stp or X_t file format i use this in case in need to check any problem and optimized any parameter of it .
can I import from NX as Stp or IGES? I am getting errors in the meshing saying that I am missing shell elements.. Can anyone help? :)
I suggest use spaceclaim software in ansys to import geometry file
