I have been culturing stem cells and differentiating them into vascular organoids in Matrigel. How do I retrieve these cells from the matrigel for further culturing steps? Especially when the vasculature is highly sensitive to mechanical stress.
If you have tried enzymatic dissociation of matrigel with TrypLE Express, you can add ice cold medium without growth factors to flush the organoids.
