When packing a PEEK column, one that's is opaque. Is there a technique or method used to determine how much particles are packed inside? Is there a way to determine that? thank you
What type of media? If you refer to silica particles, then using a defined amount of material (determine their mass), make up the slurry and pack the column. Any remaining slurry could be subtracted (dried down).
Particle number: Again, what type and size of particles? Large ones can be counted in a counting chamber under a microscope. A flow cytometer could also be used.
the type of particles I eluded to are toyo-pearl 650M chromatographic particles. the particle is more of a slurry since it is dissolved in 20% ethanol.
