I am completely new to salome and OpenFOAM. I have learnt that there are multiple solvers in openFOAM with different boundary conditions.
I want to know that how can we decide that which solver we need for our problem? On which parameter it depends.
For example, My task is the fluid flow from a simple straight pipe. Now, How can I decide that which solver do I need for this?

a good way is to look at the tutorial cases and choose a solver of a similar problem. It's common practise to start adapting the case files of a these tutorial case to fit your case, unless you are very experienced with OpenFOAM of course...

Suppose I made a geometry in Salome, and Now I want to export it to OpenFOAM to perform simulation. and my geometry is one of the cases of OpenFOAM tutorial cases. Then how can I apply that particular case on my geometry?
where and what are the modifications shall I need to do? Do I need to change the boundary conditions etc?

i f you geomerty and problem exactly matches the OpenFOAM tutorial case, you can copy the case, set your boundary conditions and you are good to go.
If only the problem matches and not your geometry you have to mesh your geometry and adapt the dictionary files of the tutorial case.

And you will probably have to read through it some hours until you get an exact idea how to start. OpenFOAM is not very intuitive at the first glimpse...
