I am doing a project on acquisition and tracking of Galileo E1 signals.
I am following Kai Borre's book 'A software defined GPS and Galileo Receiver', which uses the real signal at IF (Intermediate Frequency).
What would be the changes we should make when our input signal is a complex baseband instead of a real signal at Intermediate frequency?

Dear Raza,
Assuming that the base band signal can be expressed by x=Ab exp jphib where Ab and phib are the magnitude and phase of the base band signal.
After shifting to the intermediate frequency the signal becomes y and can be expressed by
y= x exp jwif t where wif is the intermediate frequency and t is the time.
Then if we multiply the signal by exp -jwift , we will get the base band.
So, in order to get the th digital data we have to perform base band demodulation which is the inverse processes of the transmitter operation.
Which may be here a despreading process followed bit detection circuits.
