I have Isolates Hepatic Stellates cells from human tissue. So many articles say that these cells (HSC) do not divide in culture condition. In my culture plates these cell are 2 months old (Passage-2) and they are growing very fast.So I stain these cells by "Nile red" for lipid staining which is characteristic of Quscient HSC lipid staining and portal fibroblast, which is present in portal area they do not take Nile red staining. So these staining prove that these are HSC?

Can I use CK-8 and CK 18 marker for characterization?

I am thinking to stain with Desmin, CD133+and Vimentin Marker of HSC.

My area is stem cell and liver regeneration. So some one help me To characterized these cell...And how can I compare with LX-2 cell line because these are activated cell line.
