I was able to follow macrophages for 12 days after PBMC plating if no growth factor was added and also currently have them for 1 months with GM-CSF stimulation (30 ng/ml). M-CSF may keep them alive for a long time as well.

I usually use them from day 7, but once differentiated, they do remain alive and healthy-looking for at least a month in RPMI with 10% FCS (at 37C). How healthy they actually are and how they will respond to your treatments at this point however I don't know (after this long, I find the medium remains stable and doesn't yellow at all, suggesting they are much less metabolically active). Also, I would have doubts as to how they would still resemble macrophages in vivo once cultured for this long.
