We knocked down a MMP in SK-Mel-28 cell lines and found that STAT3 protein is reduced upon the knock down. Now we are looking for a link between the MMP and STAT3 expression. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you. I know some of those papers already.
But I am not looking for the influence of Stat3 on MMPs but for a regulation of the Stat3 gene expression, as we found the Stat3 protein regulated.
