Haley a generally accepted way via which organisational and individual employee‘s goals may be ascertained to be aligned is through persona-organisational fit. This generally entails identifying the extent to which both sets of goals cohere and complement each other’s fulfilment. A common mechanism for doing so is the use of performance indicators although the too has been critiqued for sometimes measuring the wrong set of objectives or for being designed in favour of overarching company goals rather than the minutiae of personal preference, values and goals.
