I incubate the soil with earthworm and applied different concentrations of REO-NMs. Previously, literature documented that earthworms improve soil pH. Have you ever performed the experiments to evaluate the pH response over combined exposure of earthworm and NMs? My weekly data is changing in a dose-dependent manner. Should pH be increased or decreased with time and dose?
An interesting topic to experiment with, soil pH may increase or decrease depending the initial soil pH. But , more interesting will be to see the participation of NMs . NMs will probably act in loading the source of NMs in orgaic acids released by earthworms..
