I'm looking for a method to generate membrane fractions (not crude membrane, but cell membrane fractions) out of frozen (-80°C) human muscle biopsies.
I know it's usally done by sucrose gradient protocols, with large amounts of fresh samples.
I haven't got those anymore, only frozen biopsies (approx. 100µg).
So is there another method?
The overall goal is to investigate GLUT4 translocation.
