Hello everyone:

Imagine that you are studying if statistically significant differences exist between a number of groups (of sampling units) regarding a set of study variables.

Assume you are testing this by means of a PERMANOVA (i.e., permutational ANOVA/MANOVA). If your test is significant, it means that differences exist between your groups.

But, how to proceed after this? I mean, how can you discover where those differences are? Which test do you suggest now?

Thanks in advance.

All the best:

J.
