Hello all, I frequently use the Akta purifier for protein purification and recently have been getting error messages in unicorn saying "error 2012 no response frac, 900". The frac 920 is designed to be recognized in unicorn as frac-900, so thats fine. I have checked all wired connections and they are all in the right places, but I still cant get the fraction collector to be recognized by the system. The weirdest thing tho is that the fraction collector becomes unresponsive to manual commands when plugged in, indicating that it is communicating with unicorn, but still unicorn says it dosnt "see" the piece. Any thoughts on this? has anyone experienced a similar problem? thanks in advance!
How about switching off the system and computer, removing FC then cleaning the bottom and reconnecting it.
