Are there any specific markers for recognizing the stages of Alzheimer (mild, severe etc) in rodents. I wish to induce the same using streptozotocin, and transplant stem cells both at an early and late stage of alzheimer progression? But I am not aware how to know about the stages. Please kindly suggest.

This is not at all my field, but papers in high impact journals tend to feature the following:
Performance on behavioral and cognitive tasks relating to expected loss of function in different domains.like sensory, motor, emotional, executive
Histology or molecular biology to quantify neurodegeneration/neuroinflammation and/or abeta or tau accumulation.
Since you're implanting stem cells you'll also want a way to check that they stick around.
I doubt if we can speak about " Alzheimerws Disease " in rodents .It is probably a lab model used for research purposes and should be named accordingly.
