I don't know what you mean by the term "limit of acceptability"? Are you referring to the nominal level of the confidence interval (i.e. 90%, 95% 99%)?
In healthcare research (my discipline), we typically use 95% CIs, unless it is otherwise noted (for example, there are clinical studies where 99% CIs are set, and there are some health behavior studies where 90% CI are set).
Is this what you are referring to, or something different?

"validation study" is a permanent process that starts from the very beginning of the life of the method until its retirement. also, validation is to ensure that every future measurement in routine analysis will be close enough to the unknown true
value for the content of the analyte in the sample.
