I am using L-arginine in my refolding buffer. After the time required for the refolding to happen I have to dialyse my sample in order to eliminate the arginine that would prevent the binding of my protein to the column.
Can anyone help me solving this problem?

Although you could find a way to measure the arginine concentration, the simpler approach is to make sure you have allowed adequate time and changed the dialysis buffer enough times to ensure that the residual arginine concentration will be low enough.
If the next step is ion exchange chromatography, then it's the ionic strength that matters, rather than the arginine concentration. You can measure the ionic strength using a conductivity meter, calibrated with salt solutions.
