Hello,
Just curious. Has anyone autoclaved a fast optical 96-well reaction plate before? Specifically those used for qPCR. We use the Applied Biosystems™ MicroAmp™ Fast Optical 96-Well Reaction Plate, 0.1 mL, catalog #43-469-07. I'm aware that it's made out of polypropylene which is an autoclavable plastic material; however, will autoclaving it affect its clarity? Will the machine be able to read the plate just as good as it was brand new? I haven't tried it, but it would save us a lot of money if we can reuse them. Thanks!
