Hi, I'm currently writing my research proposal for my MSc project and I've gotten myself entangled into a dangerous and confusing world of epistemology and ontology.

I am aiming to carry out template analysis on the data from semi structured interviews about the participants' perspectives of psychological safety within a short term team working environment. I am hoping the individuals will talk about how they 'show up' (impression manage) in meetings, contribute and take risks due to their perception of feeling psychologically safe to do so.

Would I be correct in thinking that I can take a interpretivism- constructivism approach to this because the individuals construct meaning of their social interactions within their world and I ( the researcher) can construct meaning of their experience via interpretation of the data and it's hidden meanings?

Does this make sense or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I appreciate any help
