I think human beings are supposed to follow ethics of nature to be in harmony with the universe. For example; In my booklet " Universal law; consumer economy and global warming" ; I talked about signs of charity in nature and God asked us ( in all Divine books) to give charity.

I would find it interesting to examine in a comparative study the relationship between law and morality in their relationship to religion. In the three monotheistic religions this relationship is very close. God's commandments for man are divine law. Thus, in ancient Judaism and still today in Islam, the unity between the provisions of the Holy Book and secular jurisprudence was emphasized. This is because the relationship between man and the one God represents the basic relationship of the monotheistic religions, connected with the dogma that man is disobedient to God and does not keep the divine commandments, on the other hand the divine promise to lead man to salvation, there is a strong - also moral - separation between those who follow this doctrine and those ethnic groups who are not "believers in God" were thus regarded as enemies of God and their own people.

If one can establish here a close connection between God, morality and law, it does not exist in Japanese Shintoism. Shinto worship is not linked to the legal norms of the state or moral behavior. Shinto worship is bound to the Shinto Shrine. Since there are indirect historical relations between Shintoism and Buddhism (also to Daoism), there are certainly indirect moral relations, but there is no legal doctrine derived directly from Shintoism.

So here the question is not decisive: How do I become "just" as a sinful human being before God? But: Will I stay healthy, become I rich? -Oor what can I do to make my wishes come true?

And yet, people of different religions have behaved in the basic concept of what is good and evil probably not very differently due to the biological condition that characterizes all higher life: to secure reproduction. This means to promote one's own life, the family, the own people and to have rules for a just social life together, also to protect the lives of individuals against injustice.
