Hi Sutonuka, so far as I know, it is quite difficult for cancer cells survive for a long time under hypoxia, because in vitro hypoxic condition (1% oxygen) cannot fully mimic in vivo physiological hypoxia condition. Therefore you need to design and finish your experiments within a limited incubation time.
If I were you, I'll culture Ins-1 cells under hypoxia, and evaluate cell viability at different time points. It depends on cancer types and cell context.
