Does anyone know of any research looking at the effects of repeated viral infection in first few weeks of life in a mouse to model childhood illnesses (or similar)? Thanks!
Rob Sorge tried repeated viral infections in either rats or mice a few weeks ago. I don't know the age of the animals. If you want the details, you can contact him at [email protected] and let him know I suggested you contact him. I'm not aware of any published work addressing that question.
Thank you everyone! The developmental window is important, so the gestational work isnt what I can use - although its interesting. I am actually surprised that no one has done it and I assumed I had missed the references. Ill need a reference as its for a grant so Ill look at Anna's work. :-)
Just noticed the above conversation: I worked with Rob Sorge on the repeat IP endotoxin in mice. I wish we could do viral follow-up but we are not set up for it.
