I have read and watched videos about moderation analysis/interaction using spss. however, only provides 1 DV, 1 IV and moderator. My paper aims to know if dimensions of IV can predict DV and if Gender can moderate the association. Can someone show me how to do this in spss. thanks :)
you can conduct multigroup analysis as your moderator is nominal variable. If you have advanced version of SPSS 22/23, you can add on AMOS and use it for moderation purpose by testing constrained and unconstrained models.

I also used MMR for my dissertation. I strongly suggest that you read Regression Analysis for Categorical Moderators by Herman Aguinis. If your moderator is binary, you will have to create dummy variables for that variable. If your analysis is a moderated multiple regression (MMR), you will have to create interaction terms between the dummy variable and the IV (a MMR is simply a multiple regression equation with an interaction term). An excellent resource that takes you through the process, step-by-step, with screen shots of the process in SPSS can be found at https://statistics.laerd.com/index.php.
