I'm going to start culturing these cerebral endothelial cells:

Eventually I want to perform tube formation and migration assays with them. In literature I could not find tube formation assays with these cells, as compared to HUVECs where you find the most info. I wonder if you have observed tube formation capacity. The company could not tell.

I also need to understand better what coating would be best, and what growth conditions. I need to find the "minimum" good conditions, preferably in defined medium without serum, as I will try treatments to see enhanced proliferation and angiogenic capacity, but this might be modest.

Please reply here if you have experience with these cells or with a particular aspect of it. If you don't have them from Cell Systems, but isolate them yourself, please reply anyways, your experience would be very helpful and appreciated.
